FAQ: Order Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Can I return or exchange a product I ordered?
Ah, we’ve all been there—wrong size, wrong color, or a case of “I changed my mind.” Unfortunately, since each product is custom-made just for you, we can’t take it back. It’s not you; it’s the one-of-a-kind charm of made-to-order magic.
What if my product arrives looking like it had a rough day?
If your product shows up damaged or has a manufacturing oops, we’ll gladly send you a shiny new one or issue a refund.
How do I request a reprint or refund for a damaged or defective product?
Easy! Just head on over to our "Oops Portal," snap a clear photo of the issue, then submit it through the “Submit Issue” contact form within 10 days of delivery. We’ll take it from there and save the day. Be sure to include a clear photo showing the problem to help us resolve the issue quickly.
What should I include in my “Hey, help me out” message?
We love details! When you reach out, send us:
- A clear photo of the offending item.
- Your order info (order number, product name, the name of your childhood pet—just kidding about that last one).
How long does it take to resolve an issue?
We work fast! Once you submit the required information, our team will review your claim and typically resolve it within a few business days.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Since production begins shortly after an order is placed, changes or cancellations are not possible once the order is confirmed.
Why can’t I return a product for reasons like ordering the wrong size or color?
Here’s the deal: your product is like a custom masterpiece—it’s made specifically for you, and no one else can love it quite like you. So, we can’t resell or restock it. Moral of the story? Double-check those details before you click "buy."
Digital Gift Card Terms & Return Policy
- Usage: Digital gift cards are valid exclusively on Julioavila.com and cannot be used for tattoo services.
- Tattoo Gift Vouchers: To purchase a tattoo gift voucher, please visit Cornerstone Tattoo in person. Our team will be happy to assist you.
- Delivery: Virtual gift cards will be emailed to the purchaser. You may forward the email to the recipient or print it out to present as a gift.
- Returns: Digital gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned.
- Returns on Gift Card Purchases: Items purchased with a gift card can be returned. Refunds for these items will be credited back to the original gift card. No cash refunds will be provided.
When will my Pre-Order ship?
Please see the Pre-Order Details tab on the pre-order product you purchased. There you will find the shipping estimate. Please note that the shipping estimates are just that... estimates. While we do our darndest to get an accurate ETA, the logistics companies and manufacturers don't always meet their end of the deal. We will always aim to beat our estimate and should any issues arise we will let you know ASAP. Thanks for your patience!
How do I select Local Pick-Up if I live Nearby?
At this time we only have (in stock) books available for local pick from Cornerstone Tattoo in Milwaukee, WI.
If you would like to pick up your book from the shop, here are step by step instructions for local pick-up at check out.
- Add book(s) to your cart
- Click the shopping cart icon at the top of the website and then click the red checkout button.
- Put in your local Milwaukee address in the shipping address spaces.
- Select local pick-up from the shipping options.
- Your local store location will pop up as "Milwaukee - Cornerstone Tattoo"
- Select the above location.
- Enter in your payment details and checkout as normal.
- Please bring a copy of your order confirmation & an ID that matches the purchaser name to Cornerstone Tattoo for pick-up within 7 business days.
